On January 29th, 33
year old Nicole
Pietz left home to visit a friend for dinner. She never successfully
completed her 7 mile trip. On Monday, Mrs. Pietz's body was found
and identified by King County Washington Detectives hidden just
off of a busy intersection. Her car is still missing.
The family immediately put up a website
when Nicole Pieta went missing. On February 2nd a detective with
the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office posted a compassionate
and informative message. I have posted it below to offer it as
a template to those with less compassion regarding the missing.
Remember this woman had no witnesses to her armed abduction, Michelle
Bullard had three witnesses to her armed abduction and a convicted
cold blooded murderer shot himself less than 7 miles from Michelle's
home as he was approached by a deputy the same day Michelle was
taken.
Again who says Michelle
ran away?

Thursday, 02 February 2006
My name is Brad Pince and I am the detective from the Snohomish
County Sheriff’s Office assigned to this case. First
off I want to pass on my sincere thanks to all of Nicole’s
family and friends who have been providing me with information
about Nicole. I also know and appreciate the many that have
been passing out the missing person’s flyers. I can
assure you the more information I have and the more people who
are exposed to the fact that Nicole is missing, the better chance
we have of finding her. I also want to thank the media for
getting the information and photographs of Nicole out to the public.
Again the more exposure we get in this case the better.
We are doing everything we can to find Nicole and I pray that
when we do find her she will be OK.
There is a tremendous amount of information circulating about
Nicole and our investigation. Some of it is factual and
some of it is not. I ask that you all try to be careful
about passing on rumors and misinformation. If you
do come across a tip I ask that you get that information to me
as soon as possible and to limit sharing the information with
others. I am not trying to keep things from Nicole’s
friends however it’s getting to the point where I am running
down leads that just end up being variations of information cleared
two days ago.
If anyone wants or needs to talk to me directly please just call
me at 425 388-3827. My partner is Detective Tom Dittoe and
his telephone number is 425 388-3849. We will both try to answer
any questions you may have. The best way to pass on in formation
to either of us is by email. I can be reached at Brad.Pince@co.snohomish.wa.us
