On the infamous date of 6/6/06 lightning struck our parents Sandy
and Sondra Robertson's house in Wilmington around 2:30PM. The
home was quickly engulfed in fire, firefighters responded within
4 min's of the initial 911call and flames were shooting through
the roof.

Lightning is 54,000 degrees, six times hotter than the sun. It
travels at 93,000 miles per second. It strikes without warning.
Everyone that survives a house fire such as the one my family
experienced is mighty fortunate.
