The long awaited Gary Rummer civil trial has made it to Federal Court in New Bern. Rummer, 50, was placed into the New Hanover County Jail for failing to complete his community service for an earlier DWI conviction. While in the custody of the Sheriff Rummer was "taken to the mat" by at least one deputy and as a result suffered a skull fracture and broken neck. Was later transported 3 hours to the hospital in Raleigh where he died. When asked by the family what caused Gary's death they were told by the Sheriff that Mr. Rummer died as the result of alcohol abuse. It wasn't until the Star News received a copy of the autopsy report that the sheriff admitted the true cause of death, Blunt Force Trauma to the Head.

Murder defendant, Tyrone Delgado, who is charged with the murder of FBI secretary, Melissa Ann Galade Mooney, 28 witnessed the violent altercation between the deputies and Rummer. Delgado contacted the Wilmington Star News with his account fingering a different deputy that who was offered up by authorities and some comments over heard making the accident sound more like a deliberate retaliatory attack. and soon after was arrested for Ms.Mooney's murder. Delgado faces trial on the 12th. Causey and company will be, more than likely, on trial in New Bern on the same day.

Brian Reavis is the man we profiled as soon as the attack happened. Our profile included that he was recently released from prison, had committed similar acts before, lived within 5 blocks from the scene of the crime, was a lazy predator and more then likely was a larger man that reported.

The 41 year old Reavis is charged with:

First Degree Sexual Offense
First Degree Rape
First Degree Kidnapping
First Degree Burglary
Malicious Maiming
Common Law Robbery

He was apprehended at his mother's house where he had been living since his December 31, 2007 release from prison. While in prison he was charged with over 200 infractions, 45 of which were charges of attacks upon other inmates for sexual purposes. While living in Philadelphia Reavis spent time in prison for Robbery. Immediately after in his 1995 release he was charged with Rape and Indecent Exposure in 1996, there is no record of the case ever being tried, it is possible he fled to NC to escape justice on the rape.. He was arrested in 1997 for using a dangerous weapon to commit a robbery and sentenced to 103 - 133 months in prison. He was released in December of 2007. The rape of the 95 year old woman happened 4 months later.

The Blue Line is certain that this monster has committed other criminal acts since he was released in December. Hopefully those who have been victimized by him will recognize his mug shot and report him to authorities. Reavis' long history of violence and sexual assaults should put him in prison for the rest of his life.

We all owe the Wilmington Police Department a well deserved thank you for a job well done. This case work is reminiscent of the serial rape case solved immediately after Chief Evangelous took office.

WPD Released Statment: Human skeletal remains were found Saturday afternoon by passersby in a wooded area behind the 3500 block of Carolina Beach Road. The scattered remains appear to be from two individuals.

Remains were removed from the scene yesterday. The search for additional evidence continues today.

An initial decision was made to withhold basic information until there is confirmation from the medical examiner's office about at least a few preliminary details -- length of time the remains may have been there, possible cause of death, age, gender, etc. WE KNOW VERY LITTLE AND CANNOT CONFIRM ANY OF THESE DETAILS AT THIS TIME.

The original decision to postpone release of information for a brief time was out of regard for any family, anywhere, that is missing a loved one. Knowledge that unidentified remains have been found leads to speculation and unnecessary pain for all but those whose loved ones may eventually be accounted for.

Additional details will be released as information is confirmed wrote WPD Spokesperson Lucy Crockett.

Marc has been working the Allison Foy case. Allison was last seen July 30, 2006 at closing time in Junction Pub and Billiards on Carolina Beach Road. Hopefully the evidence found and collected today will confirm Marc's suspicions and bring an end to some of the questions that the family of Allison have been tortured with for the past two and a half years.

KIDS GETTING PREGNANT, KIDS HAVING SEX, 16 YEAR OLDS GETTING MARRIED, LOCK YOUR DOORS IT'S THE SECTS POLICE!

When I saw this video a year ago I was shocked. How could a young girl be so excited about her pregnancy? I remember when my wife and I went to see her OB doctor and in walked a girl all of maybe 12 with her belly sticking out about 9 months worth, just talking and talking with her mom. Shouldn't she have her head hanging down low, silent, ashamed? Damn, aren't there laws against this sort of stuff? Yes there are. And no where on earth is that more apparent than in El dorado, Texas where on the suspicion that there may be some pregnant children roaming about over 400 children were kidnapped by the State and forced into a culture as familiar to them as the world of the aboriginal pygmy tribes are to you.

The military style maneuver of the 500 or so heavy armed governmental officials into the private compound of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS) splinter group, the Yearning for Zion Ranch in El dorado, Texas to seize and transplant some 400 minor children in order to gynecological examine, to question, to swab for DNA, to separate, isolate, vaccinate, change the diets of, dress, sit in front of TV, breathe cigarette smoke on, photograph, fingerprint, threaten, and to shame those they purport to protect. A woman whose entire life outside the compound has been obsessed with spreading the gospel about the evil ways of the FLDS, exposing the cultish ways and the perverse teachings of Mormon polygamist Warren Jeffs.

In the middle of the night, Carolyn Jessop packed up her children and fled a marriage to a man 32 years older than she was. There was just one problem. "I had nowhere to go," she said Tuesday. She drove from the Fundamentalist LDS border towns of Hildale, Utah, and Colorado City, Ariz., headed for Salt Lake City. "I just felt like, worst-case situation, I'll start knocking on doors until I found a total stranger who would take me and my eight children," Jessop said. She had left behind the only life she knew — as Merril Jessop's fourth wife — headed for an unknown future outside of the cloistered FLDS Church. "It was pretty scary," she said of her situation. Now, Jessop is telling her story in a book that is garnering her an award — before it even hits store shelves. Jessop's book, "Escape," is a memoir of her life inside and outside of the FLDS Church. At age 18, she married Jessop — then 54 — and over the course of 15 years bore him eight children.

Supposedly Rozita Swinton began calling Jessop and convincing her that Swinton was a 16 year old girl name Sarah who was being raped by her older husband on the El dorado compound. Swinton relayed the reports of the calls to Texan authorities who determined that even though the caller was anonymous and that the call did not originate from the compound and that there was no prior evidence of any abuse collected by the authorities, the caller, "Sarah" was legit. But of course no one knew that Sarah was Rozita Swinton who is a mentally ill 33 year old woman that is awaiting trial on two other phoned in hoaxes. One of the local charges against Ms. Swinton, for which she was arrested, are based on evidence she placed a false 911 call claiming to be a 12-year-old girl imprisoned and abused while held captive in a basement. That call sent Colorado Springs police on a frantic race against time that resulted in 12 private homes being searched and many hundreds of people's lives disrupted.

I can't help but think the world is coming to an end. On one hand we have Britney Spears' younger sister getting pregnant and barely teens posting their ultrasounds on their myspace webpages to update their friends on the baby's development. Proud mothers. On the other hand we have a cult of fanatisism targeting those who fantasize that they might prey upon children, such as those caught in the Dateline NBC "To Catch a Predator" campaign and those eager to save little girl virtue by laboring against the Constitution with illegal searches and seizures. Yet where were these people when 7 year old Kayla Allen was being beaten or when 18 year old Maria Lauterbach was raped? Where were the pot and pan bangers when 12 year old Dakota Fanning strips and grinds to Elvis? And what about the boys? Remember them? The run -aways, the gang bangers, the high school drop outs? Remember them? The impregnators, the probationers, the prison inmates. What about rescuing them? Pull a few strings to yank them out of their depressing environment and place them into isolation and deprogramming. Or is this just about virgin white girls? Girls who over time can give birth to 10 just like them. Scares the crap out of Texas but how many girls elsewhere are living in disavantaged houses, communities getting little to no education, no parental support? What about them? Does Texas want to take on the projects? Or is it as I said, a virgin white girl thing?

This is a question for one of our Presidential candidates, what is the right thing to do when kids familiar environment is not conductive to the realization of the optimal expectations regarding safety and protection. What do we do when a community tests low on the acceptable parenting scores? What is the right amount of evidence needed to "rescue" a child from a dangerous environment?

One out of every 94 males born in the US today will be diagnosed with Autism. There is a battle brewing about the cause. Federal Courts just recently acknowledged that Autism, in one case, was caused by governmentally mandated vaccines. Should an environmental factor be the cause for this cruel illness, which has no cure, what effort will be dispatched to rescue these children and all other children facing the same destructive environmental factors? What headlines are sexy enough to bring about so many gallant protectors to save millions of children and hundreds of billions of dollars? Too bad over 2,000 newspapers had headlines that said, "Sect Leaders Force Children to Marry Old Men" and not "AUTISM LINKED TO VACCINES." But then this whole save the children effort is really about politics and not really about the safety of kids. If you don't believe me where is the evidence in Texas? Kids are definately getting screwed, all kids and since when hasn't that been the case?

THE REMAINS OF PAMELA WALDHER HAVE BEEN FOUND IN HARNETT COUNTY ...ANOTHER YOUNG COUNTY WOMAN REMAINS MISSING

Pamela Waldher went missing January 2005. Her story can be found on NC WANTED and on our blog site crime.blogs.com.

On January 5, 2006 Harnett County resident Susan Renee Andersen, 19, did not come home from work. Her family has not heard from her since. The Harnett County Sheriff's Office claim they spoke with someone purporting to be Susan in May of 2006. The Harnett investigators closed the case after that even though they did not have any proof of life that would have required law enforcement to visually identify her. The CUE Center for Missing Person's was recently asked, by the Andersen family, to help in the search for their missing daughter. Since CUE's involvement in July the Sheriff 's Office has reopened the missing person case. After that, the Sheriff's Office has refused to respond to repeated phone calls and email messages. The family assumes the investigators have failed to locate Susan or any one who has seen her since she failed to return home after work January 5, 2006. CUE Center Press Release

WHY IS PEYTON STRICKLAND DEAD ?
Peyton Strickland, 18 was shot and killed in a paramilitary raid by the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office and the UNCW Police. Strickland, unarmed and at home, was killed, according to Sheriff Causey, for failing to open the door in proper time. Causey said, "If this boy would've come to the door - opened the door - we probably wouldn't be talking," . Autopsy report shows that Deputy Chris Long's shot to Strickland's head passed thru a door prior to hitting Mr. Strickland. NHSD and UNCW Police were in the process of serving a search warrant for a stolen Playstation video game.
